Wei Chen, MD, is a general pediatrician with experience practicing in both hospital and private settings. At BridgeSpan Medicine in Purchase, New York, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive, expert care to her patients.

Dr. Chen is passionate and diligent in providing medical care. She enjoys educating her patients about their health and motivating them to live a healthy lifestyle. Her diverse interests lie in pediatric preventive health care, nutrition, and alternative medicine.

Dr. Chen holds a medical degree from Shanghai Medical University in China. She continued her medical education by completing her PhD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and her pediatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, both in New York City.

Dr. Chen is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an affiliate of Lawrence Hospital in New York.

Dr. Chen is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese. She looks forward to serving Westchester County’s Chinese/Asian population by helping them navigate any language or cultural barriers they may encounter while in her care. She hopes to establish a medical liaison with the Westchester Chinese community.
